Bio

Kat Seibert is a practicing rheumatologist in a beautiful Ocean State, where she works full time in a busy practice. She is also responsible for directing the younger generation of healthcare professionals through her affiliations with Brown and Boston Universities. Traditional medicine is not enough for her and she explores ways to better her patients through a healthy lifestyle, positive attitude and uncomplicated good spirit for body and mind healing. After hours you can find her spending time with family, reading a lot of books, watercolor paintings and practicing athletics. This off the clock blog is a myriad of work and passion for healthy patients and balanced healthcare professionals.

Practicing medicine for almost two decades I can tell you that the doctor’s office is an illusional place to get real about your health. Research shows that physicians, the way we see them, play very little role in our pathway to wellness. And to that end I want to portray on this website how I go about finding balance, better health and explore territories that at first look have nothing to do with well-being, but if you give it a chance, you will recognize that real you may as well be even better off the clock.
